I reached down and slid the red ignore button on my cell phone. This has been the sixth time that Dion has called me. I had no words for his ass right now. The way he acted really had me fucked up. I know that he was fighting his feelings for me, but damn it didn’t give him the right to treat me that way. His zodiac sign, Capricorn, really fits his ass because they are so wishy washy. He can say one thing and does the complete opposite.

“Who you over there sending to voicemail Mo?” Carmen said.

We were all in the massage chair getting our feet done while Twan was finishing up one of his clients hair. Twan had a one stop shop. He had hair stylists, nail techs, and massage therapist. He was doing the damn thing!

“Oh no one girl,” I said not making eye contact with her.

“Ok no one! You have been sending whomever to voicemail since your phone started to ring two hours ago.”

“So what’s going on with you and Ky Cayden?” I said changing the subject.

She looked at me with a side eye letting me know we would revisit this subject.

She smiled and began to tell us what’s been going on with them.

“You know about all that shit that happened with Marquese?”

She looked over to me and told me that she would tell me about what happened at a later time.

“Anyways, that man came into my life when I was at my worst. He helped build me back up, along with my brother. The first month when I got back, he stayed with me and took care of me. My self-esteem was at an all-time low but he was there to pick up the pieces. After that month of being around each other, we began to catch feelings for each other. Whatever was going on with us, I didn’t want anyone to know, so I made him promise me that he wouldn’t tell anyone about us until I was ready. It was hard because we were around each other and men would try to hit on me and vice versa. I almost blew my cover when my brother had a little get together at his home and this thirsty bitch was on his ass all night, and that shit was pissing me off. The last straw was when she took it upon herself to sit on his lap and started to kiss him. The nigga pushed her off him so hard you would have thought that bitch was hot coal. He looked over at me and he knew that I was heated, but I couldn’t react because I didn’t want anyone to know what was going on between us. I got her ass back though. We were out in my brother’s backyard and I purposely pushed that bitch in his pool and I tried to play it off like it was an accident. I looked over to Ky and he knew what it was without me saying anything.
